Sprocket Spacer. Spider Adapter. Hat Washer. No matter what you call it, you probably need it to make your sprocket fit your crank axle properly. These go on the back side of the sprocket, and are made of steel. These are not actually needed for Profile bolt-on spiders, which fit flush on a 19mm crank axle.

REAR (DRIVE SIDE): -The Profile Racing C4 Drive Side Guard is made from injection molded plastic. -Must be used with the proprietary steel insert which threads on 14mm axle and substitutes existing drive side jam nut. -Can be used on all 14mm rear Profile and Madera Cassette Hubs (including Madera V-2 and Gulf Coaster, and Profile Mini, Totem, Elite, and Zcoaster). -Can be used on either RHD or LHD Hubs. -Works only with 14mm axles REAR: -CNC machined from Delrin (a really strong and durable plastic) -Can be used on Profile Elite, Mini ,Totem, and ZCoaster rear hubs as well Madera V2 Rear hub in 14mm Only. -Works only with Madera and Profile 14mm axles as the guard fits over the jam nut. Will NOT work with 3/8 hubs. -The hub guard slides over the 14mm jam nut – It will sit snug against your drop out and hub cone when the wheel is tightened down. FRONT: -CNC machined from Delrin (a really strong and durable plastic) -Can be used on Profile Elite & Mini front hubs as well as Madera Pilot front hubs. -Works only with Profile/Madera Knurled cones. Will NOT work with the older style, all aluminum front hub cones. -You can buy an adaptable cone with the guard if you don’t have the right one. -The hub guard slides over the hub cone – It will sit snug against your fork and hub cone when the wheel is tightened down. Note: Plastic wears faster than aluminum, especially when used on very rough surfaces. The Madera C-4 guards are intended to be used for ramp and light street.

-The Aegis Rear Hub Guard is Designed with today’s smaller dropouts in mind, it replaces the cone spacer on 3/8 hubs as well as the cone spacer and lock nut on 14mm hubs.-Fits all Profile Mini, Elite, and Totem Cassette hubs, as well as Madera V2 Cassette hubs. -The Aegis Front Hub Guard will fit on Profile Mini, Totem, and Elite front hubs, as well as the Madera Pilot V2 hub.
