LESSONS: SCHOOL OF RAY'S

Weekday evenings 7:00 pm Saturday from 9:00 am
BMX and MTB bikes allowed in all groups
Each class will cover proper bike setup, required safety equipment, peddling, shifting and braking technique, bike control as well as trail and park ettiqute
Three different level classes offered, each program 1 1/2 hours long
$20 per person (plus admission) for group session - max 5 to a group $40 per person (plus admission) for individual session
Novice 101 - Introduction to basic bike riding The Novice 101 class is designed for riders that are able to comfortably ride a bicycle in an open area. The Novice 101 class will introduce the basic proper technique required for basic trail riding, and for building overall confidence riding their bike. If you look at our Beginner area, and you DON'T feel you can ride that terrain, Novice 101 is a good place to start. Riders that successfully complete Novice 101 will find riding Rays Novice Area, the Yellow Loop, and possibly the Green Loop a blast!
Beginner 201 - This is fun, I want to learn more! The Begniner 201 class is designed for riders that are able to comfortably ride a bicycle in uneven and loose terrain. The Beginner 201 class will reinforce the basic proper technique required for beginner trail riding, and for building overall confidence riding their bike. If you look at our Sport area, and you DON'T feel you can ride that terrain, Beginner 201 is a good place to start. Riders that successfully complete the Beginner 201 program will enjoy riding the Beginner area, the Pump Track, possibly the Micro Rhythm Jumps, the Yellow Loop, and the Green Loop!
Sport 301 - I know how to ride, but want to learn technique The Sport 301 class is designed for riders that are able to comfortably ride a bicycle on trails and have conquered everything in the Beginner Section of the park. The Sport 301 class will reinforce the basic proper technique required for Sport level trail riding, and for building overall confidence riding their bike. If you look at our XC course, and you DON'T feel you can ride that terrain, Sport 301 is a good place to start. Riders that successfully complete the Sport 301 program will enjoy riding portions of the Sport area, the Beginner area, the Pump Track, the XC Course, the Sport Section, the Micro Rhythm Jumps, the Yellow Loop, and the Green Loop!
